Do I see net or gross earnings in the application?
The figures displayed in the HUSWELL App represent "Net Earnings" or "Owner Income." You can check your earnings per reservation by following these steps:
1ď¸âŁ Navigate to the âReservationsâ section.
2ď¸âŁ Select a specific reservation from the list.
3ď¸âŁ You will now see a detailed breakdown of your earnings for that booking.
Additionally, the dashboard provides a complete monthly overview of your bookings, as well as the total accumulated income for the year.
Understanding Net Earnings
â ď¸ Please note: The displayed net earnings are an estimate and may vary in the following situations:
- Cancellations â If a guest cancels, the earnings may be adjusted accordingly.
- Modified Reservations â Changes to bookings (e.g., extended stays or shortened durations) can impact the final payout.
- Third-Party Commission Adjustments â If external fees or commissions change, this may be reflected in your earnings.
- Cleaning Fees â Cleaning costs are also paid out to hosts as part of the total earnings. However, hosts are responsible for paying these cleaning costs themselves.
- HUSWELL Monthly Fee â The figures displayed in the app do not yet include the monthly service fee, which still needs to be deducted from your total earnings.
The charts in the app display net earnings on both a monthly and yearly basis, giving you an overview of your rental income performance over time.
How to Best Evaluate Your Earnings?
Since the vacation rental market experiences high and low seasons, earnings can fluctuate significantly from month to month.
âĄď¸ For a more accurate picture of your rental performance, we recommend evaluating your earnings on a yearly basis rather than focusing on monthly or individual reservation totals.
