Update - New European regulations - DAC7

The European legislation that platforms such as Airbnb must comply with from January 1, 2023 is also referred to as the "DAC7" legislation. This is a new addition to an already existing European Directive, introducing new reporting obligations for digital platforms that make their platform available to users/sellers such as owners, rental offices or service providers such as Huswell.

Since Huswell only acts as a user/seller and does not provide a digital platform itself, this legislation does not apply directly to Huswell and we only have to provide the required tax information of the company Huswell itself and not of the owners. We are, however, obliged to share the postal address of all properties for which we act as a service provider. In that context, we are obliged to inform you of the applicable "DAC7 privacy statement for non-users" and refer to the explanation on the AirBnb website.
